How often do you worm a puppy? Can you worm a puppy twice in one week?
-
Typically you do not need to de-worm a puppy that frequently. Most de-wormers that work against the "typical" intestinal parasites should be given to puppies at 2 - 3 week intervals, ideally starting at 2 weeks of age and continuing for at least 5 - 6 doses. If you gave one product and have reason to consider a different product (for example, you know for a fact that your puppy has a parasite that is not susceptible to the de-wormer that you originally used) then you may need to give a different product. However, decisions like this should be based on knowing the type of parasite you are trying to treat, and should be done with a vet's guidance regarding drug and dosage.

It really depends on what dewormer is used. There is more than one dewormer.

The recommended protocol is to de-worm your puppy twice in an interval of 10-14 days.
