In a young dog such as Axle there are 3 scenarios that are likely. One, he could have sustained some mild injury to a ligament, tendon, or muscle. Typically these heal with rest and anti-inflammatory medications. If he hasn't been resting (i.e. no playing or running, cage rest while indoors and leashed short walks for bathroom breaks only) then it's possible that the injury has not had sufficient time to heal. Second, he could have actually sustained a fracture to one of the small bones in the carpus (that's the "wrist"), or a small fracture to one of the growth plates in the long bones. If this is the case he will likely need coaptation (a splint or cast) or even possibly surgery to repair the fracture. Finally, he could be showing signs of some abnormal bone development that's been present from birth, but is just now making him limp. He will need a physical exam and likely x-rays to get a definitive diagnosis.

As it has been a couple weeks already without improvement, it would be recommended to take him to the vet for a checkup, if nothing obvious is founf on physical orthopedic exam, an xray will probably be needed.
