Withhold food for 12-24 hours. Allow small amounts of water or unflavored PediaLyte. Resume feeding a bland diet (boiled boneless skinless chicken breasts and plain white rice) in small, frequent amounts. If the vomiting stops, transition slowly to the regular diet. If not, or if she develops other symptoms ( diarrhea, lethargy, loss of appetite) then see your veterinarian. You may need to supplement the pups with Esbilac, PetLac or a similar puppy milk replacer until mom is feeling better.

If she is vomiting that much than she should be seen by a vet to determine the cause, especially if she has pups. She is going to become dehydrated if the vomiting is not controlled. Your vet can run labwork and take xrays to help diagnose. She could have an infection. Once a diagnosis is made, your vet can prescribe medications to help treat. Please call your vet or go to an emergency clinic.
