I was wondering if I could use apple cider vinegar, baking soda and water in a spray bottle to use as a flea killer on my cats

I am not sure that will take care of the flea problem and your cat will probably not like being sprayed. I recommend you use a spot on treatment like Revolution, Frontline, or Advantage. Your will need to treat your house, as well.

Unfortunately, that will not work to kill fleas. I recommend using a spot on treatment for cats, like Advantage or Revolution, which are scientifically proven to kill fleas. You can also give your cat Capstar if she has fleas on her right now. It's a one time pill that starts killing fleas in 30 minutes. You can then follow that up with a spot on treatment. Keep in mind you will need to disinfect your home and her bedding to get rid of all the fleas.

I am afraid , it will not work and the fleas will laugh at your efforts. Best method against fleas is as follows: There are two things you will need to do: 1) Get some flea medication such as a Flea spray or a spot on from a pet shop or your veterinarian.and apply monthly 2) get flea powder, put some in your vacuum cleaner bag and vacuum your house and furniture and also uncarpeted areas frequently to remove flea larvae which live off house dust., Dispose of the bag in the trash outside. Hot-wash all the dog's bedding,
If you do this diligently for a few months you will get rid of the fleas.
