I have a 5 yr.old Chihuahua dog she has tick in her ear canal . Can I flush it out and with what ?

Poor pup! You can try cleaning her ear with an over-the-counter ear flush labeled for dogs, but don't stick anything down into the ear canal - you could accidentally puncture her ear drum or cause other damage. If the tick is attached, it may be difficult to remove without special tools. If cleaning with ear flush doesn't work, then I would recommend having her seen by a vet - he/she can sedate her if necessary and use a surgical instrument to safely reach into the ear canal and remove the tick.

If you can't reach it with your hand, you will not be able to take it out, flushing is not possible, you will need to take her to the vet, they will take it out with some special tools.

If the tick is stuck in the ear canal needs to be removed. Flush it would not work. Follow this brief guidelines to remove the tick and disinfect the bite site: http://www.petmd.com/dog/parasites/how-to-remove-a-tick-from-dog-cat.
