My boy hates the taste of l-lysine I'm adding to his food so much:he is even not eating the food that doesn't have it.he loved it before.Please help!!

Cats are notorious for being picky about their food, especially if you have been adding medication to it recently. Since it's causing him to not want to eat, I would stop adding lysine to his food and try another way of getting it instead. You can get chewable lysine treats in a variety of flavors that many cats will eat - Enisyl is a good brand, but you can also get compounded treats from an online pharmacy like Wedgewood :)

Some foods such as royal canins kitten range is lysine enriched and highly palatable. Food aversion or refusal to accept a diet which caused illness, stress or dislike is well recognized in cats and he may accept the current diet again later. Discuss the need and benefits of lysine with the prescribing vet to check levels recommended
