I bought the cheap flea treatment (Addams brand) and the fleas have gotten worse I want to get frontline; when could I really flea treatmwant on her?

Please make the following typo correction from my previous entry.
Bravest = Bravecto (flea and tick prevention pill).

I totally understand, I too am not a fan of the Adam's flea products as well. It is safe for most products to be repeated in 2 weeks after application if the pet still has fleas, so I would recommend waiting at least 2 weeks and you should be good to go. Also you can give your pet a bath with dawn dish detergent to help strip the fleas off. Make sure not to get any in the eyes and follow up with a good oatmeal based shampoo or conditioner to help prevent dry skin.
Also keep in mind that when you apply a topical flea preventative that you wait 2 days before or after giving a bath before applying the product, or it will not be as effective.
I would also stick with Frontline Plus or Advantix from now on if you are looking for decent over the counter options. If you prefer a pill, then I really recommend Nexgard or Bravest (both Rx brands).

Wait at least 2-3 weeks before applying Frontline. In the meantime, you can get CapStar from your vet to kill adult fleas on your pet. Vacuum everywhere she has been and dispose of the bag outdoors. Wash all bedding in the hottest water temp allowable. Use an area treatment such as Knockout ES. When the time comes, apply the Frontline several days before or after a bath, then monthly for at least 3 consecutive months but preferably year round.

I would refrain from retreating her for at least two weeks as you do not want to overload her with chemicals. In the meantime, you can bathe her with dawn dish soap and brush out the fleas. You should also start treating the home and her bedding.
