It would help if I could see exactly what you mean by "less haircoat". Honestly the haircoat should develop normally in a puppy and there aren't any drugs or supplements that are designed to increase hair growth. Now if Cooper has some kind of nutritional deficiency or even a growth defect, then that likely will need to be treated medically. For instance if he also is growing slower than a normal puppy, and has persistent puppy coat that does not develop into his adult coat when he matures (usually around 6 months of age), then that is something that is likely permanent. Some things like Melatonin can be tried to help the haircoat at that point, but that needs to be discussed with your veterinarian as he is too young to have things like that tried right now.
So the best recommendation right now is to get him examined, he may have a normal puppy haircoat, which is fine, wispy, and not yet matured, that need not worry you. But that can only be determined if he gets the proper examination.
In the meantime, feeding him a high quality large breed puppy dog food is the best thing you can do for his overall development, haircoat included.
Some recommended dog foods are:
Royal Canin
Hill's Science DIet
Evo
Wellness

It takes time for puppies to develop a normal, thick adult coat, so be patient - he will get a thicker coat as he grows :) If you want to help support healthy skin and hair growth, you can use an omega-3 fatty acid supplement daily mixed in his food, such as Welactin.
