Hi, my dog is on cephalexin because of pyoderma, we are on our 9th day of treatment and i think the pyoderma has resolved however i noticed that his belly and the skin on the front of his paws is darkening/blackish purple. Is that normal response to antibiotics? and will it go away on his own or i should stop giving him cephalexin?

• Hi my cat was in a car accident and suffered a grade 2 tall pull injury and had his tail amputated after a couple weeks as it did not regain function. He has since had a constipation. Fortunately he is still able to defecate but are small hard balls. A couple times I have had to administer laxatives. I am aware this is a lifelong issue after such surgery.
