My puppy suddenly started throwing up undigested food, whining, and moving from place to place. He is sleeping now but is this something serious?

It can be difficult to say at this point. A single bout of vomiting is generally not cause for too much concern; however, persistent or chronic vomiting warrants a trip to your veterinarian. Puppies vomit for all sorts of reasons, including parasites, dietary indiscretion (eating things he shouldn't have), infections, overeating, sudden changes in diet, over exuberant play after a large meal, and ingestion of toxins.
If you are certain your puppy has not ingested a toxin of some sort, then I recommond that you monitor him closely for the next 24-48 hours. You can withhold food and water for a few hours to let his stomach have a rest, and then feed him a bland diet of cooked white rice and skinless boiled chicken or hamburger (fat skimmed off) for a couple days. Free small but frequent meals. Slowly transition back to his regular diet if the bland diet is well tolerated. If he continues to vomit or develops other symptoms, like diarrhea, then a trip to your veterinarian is necessary.

Higgins started making the awful crunch noise this past November. He’s only making it when he’s sleepy, sleeping, or waking up. I thought it was teeth grinding but to be safe I brought him to the vet and they checked his teeth, said he has a little bit of plaque but over all looked good. I asked the doctor what she thought the noise was and she said it’s probably just him adjusting his jaw. My shih tzu is 14 yr old. He has a large growth on him back and lungs (I think) that has never bother him, so it was never removed. My 9 year old staffy is huffing coughing then gagging with some throw up. He did have congestion yesterday and I treated it with a steamy bathroom and humidifier. He’s not eating but is drinking. My cat has had digestive issues since I adopted her 2 months ago. They have improved dramatically over time, but she still has semi-regular gas and seems to be in mild-moderate discomfort from day-to-day. I give her 1 Proviable Probiotic sprinkled on her dry food 1x/day (Fussie Cat Chicken and Turkey Meal dry food; approx 3/4 cup per day). My 12-year-old female Cocker has always been calm but now is deaf and recently had a bad UTI. She’s on antibiotics and thyroid medication and has dry eye, for which I put an ointment in her eyes. She used to sleep next to me but now prefers the floor, and it feels like she wants to be alone. I discovered my dog drinking out of a bucket of really gross dark green water outside. He was throwing up for a few days. I’ve since removed the bucket of water and he’s stopped throwing up. I am concerned however if he needs antibiotics or something in case there was a bacteria or parasite in the bucket of water.
