Dogs mouth excessively dry, constant lip smacking and lip licking. Dog has also seemed uncomfortable, constantly getting up and turning during sleep. Excessive sighing and groaning. We're going to take him to the vet tomorrow, but I kind of feel like he's in pain, which is why he might be sighing so much. Can I give him something for the pain until tomorrow?

• My cat has had digestive issues since I adopted her 2 months ago. • Higgins started making the awful crunch noise this past November. He’s only making it when he’s sleepy, sleeping, or waking up. I thought it was teeth grinding but to be safe I brought him to the vet and they checked his teeth, said he has a little bit of plaque but over all looked good. • I discovered my dog drinking out of a bucket of really gross dark green water outside. He was throwing up for a few days. I’ve since removed the bucket of water and he’s stopped throwing up.
