We have always had Golden Retrievers and love their temperament. This time around, we are considering a beagle/beagle-wirehair cross. What are the major differences in behaviour? We're wondering if the beagle cross is likely to run away if it got out of the house, or whether they are more likely to bark/howl a lot. We didn't have this trouble with either of our Golden's, and want to be sure this is not a concern.

• Higgins started making the awful crunch noise this past November. He’s only making it when he’s sleepy, sleeping, or waking up. I thought it was teeth grinding but to be safe I brought him to the vet and they checked his teeth, said he has a little bit of plaque but over all looked good. • Hi my cat was in a car accident and suffered a grade 2 tall pull injury and had his tail amputated after a couple weeks as it did not regain function. He has since had a constipation.
