Health

My Australian Shepherd is 5 months old. He is drooling excessively and it's thick. He hasn't been coughing or anything, but this drooling just came on today. It is a clear mucus. He doesn't seem to be acting any differently. Should I take him to a vet? He is curious and likes to occasionally eat things he shouldn't, but he hasn't got into anything that I know of for it to cause the drooling. Should I take him to a vet, or could it be because he is teething with 2 teeth cutting through?
