My female German shepherd is almost 2 years old. She developed this knot under her skin on her neck that at first I thought was a tumor. I started trying to get her in to see my Vet but then the knot turned into what looked like a massive pimple and busted. I have been cleaning it but it does not look like its getting better. No swelling. She does not display any behavior that would indicate that she is in pain and the wound opened up about a week ago. Do you know what it is?

• My cat has had digestive issues since I adopted her 2 months ago. They have improved dramatically over time, but she still has semi-regular gas and seems to be in mild-moderate discomfort from day-to-day.
