He had dental surgery to remove teeth and clean of tarter 2 months ago. Since then i check his mouth weekly. Its important to note he also has food allergies and was put on vanactyl yesterday and switched to special diet. Yesterday i noticed a lump in his gums. It is soft and not hard with slight granulation and what seems like a puncture wound. We have a puppy who play bites his mouth a lot. Our vet would like to do surgery and a biopsy but i need a second opinion as it doesn't seem like a tumo

• Higgins started making the awful crunch noise this past November. He’s only making it when he’s sleepy, sleeping, or waking up. I thought it was teeth grinding but to be safe I brought him to the vet and they checked his teeth, said he has a little bit of plaque but over all looked good.
