My dog has had diarrhea for two days. She's been eating but today she hasn't wanted to eat her dog food. What can I do and should I be concerned?

If she continues to not eat tomorrow I would recommend taking midnight to the vet. Intestinal parasites, dietary indescretion are two common causes for diarrhea. But something tends to be wrong with most labs if they don't want to eat. You can try feeding a bland boiled chicken and rice diet for a day or two if she'll eat that and see if her stools improve. If she still doesn't eat or has vomiting or acts depressed she needs to be seen.

I'm sorry to hear that Midnight hasn't been feeling well. If she is acting normally, drinking water and not vomiting, you can try a home remedy first. Start by withholding food for 12-24 hours (you can count the start of the clock from when she last ate), then try offering a bland diet of boiled white meat chicken and white rice for a few days. If her diarrhea improves and she eats well, you can gradually transition her back to her dog food over another 5-7 days. If Midnight's diarrhea persists or worsens, she won't eat the bland diet, becomes lethargic or starts vomiting, she will need to take a trip to the vet for an exam and diagnostic testing. I hope that all goes well!
