I think my dog was walked on hot concrete while at boarding. His back paws pads are torn and really pink. Can I use antibiotic cream and wrap his pads in gauze?

Those look pretty ouchy. I recommend Jackson get looked at by his veterinarian as soon as possible as he may need prescription antibiotics and pain medication. Your vet may wrap these feet but I recommend at home applying just a light layer of triple antibiotics ointment and keeping him restricted from exercising/walking. This is because a bandage can cause more harm if it is too tight, gets dirty, etc. Do not give Jackson any medication at home as it can be very toxic to dogs.

It does look as though some of Jackson's paw pads have been really irritated. This can happen from walking on abrasive surfaces, like hot concrete, or staying wet and moist for too long. You can certainly try to use the antibiotic cream you have at home, it won't hurt him at all, but he may just try it and lick it off. I would avoid wrapping them with gauze because you could wrap them too tight or keep them too moist which would make the problem worse. It can take a while for these guys to heal up, and sometimes they need additional medication from your vet. I would give it a couple days and if it's not looking better than call your vet. Good luck
