My daughter has a 5 year old pit bull/lab mix who was just diagnosed with a mast cell tumor on his hind leg. He was started on Apoquel in the past 90 days. She is a pharmacist and naturally read the insert on possible side effects, one of which was this tumor. She is very upset and blaming herself, understandably. What is your experience on the number of dogs that develop this tumor after taking this med? She is waiting for the biopsy results for the grade/stage.

I thought it was teeth grinding but to be safe I brought him to the vet and they checked his teeth, said he has a little bit of plaque but over all looked good. • Hi my cat was in a car accident and suffered a grade 2 tall pull injury and had his tail amputated after a couple weeks as it did not regain function. He has since had a constipation. • I discovered my dog drinking out of a bucket of really gross dark green water outside. He was throwing up for a few days. I’ve since removed the bucket of water and he’s stopped throwing up.
