How much should i be feeding my Labrador puppy? He's 13 weeks. I feed him a 1/2 cup kibble 3 times a day with Alpo wet food on top. And he always acts like he's starving. He has another lab friend his same age but he's a lot thicker than my dog. Mine doesn't look skinny nor can u see his rib bones or anything, but when u pet him you can feel it.

Since Nero is going to be so big when he's older he needs to be fed a large breed puppy food. This helps specifically with bone growth and development.
It's hard to recommend exactly how much food to feed Nero without knowing which type of food he's on. I usually recommend going by what it says on the back of the bag and feeding that amount divided over 2 or 3 meals a day. If Nero still seems hungry then increase the overall amount by 1/2 cup per day until he seems satisfied.
If, after doing this he still seems thin, I would recommend having him checked out by your vet.
I hope this helps. Thanks for using PetCoach. Best of Lu k.

Hi there and thanks for your question! This all depends on his weight and age. To make a estimate, I would need his exact weight, but in this case I'll estimate given his picture at around 40lbs. If you request a consult with me, we can over this accurate weight so the calculations I have below will be more accurate.
RER (resting energy requirement) would be around 611 calories/day but since he is a puppy, he needs roughly 2-3 X this amount, so between 1222 calories and 1835 calories a day. Calories are listed on the back on the food packaging label- they are usually displayed as x amount of calories/ cup or can of food.
Hope this helps!
