Hello Dr I think my cat is pregnant . Plz tell me the signs of pregnancy in cats and if my cat is pregnant which type of food should I feed her? Presently I m giving her Persian Royal Canine. Sholud I keep my cat and tom separate because they sometimes still mate (about 1 to 2 times a day)?

Most cats will not want to mate once they are out of heat and actually pregnant, so it may be that your female is still in heat. Signs of pregnancy in cats can include weight gain, visible movement along the abdomen (kittens moving), increases in appetite, and in late pregnancy changes to the nipples/milk glands, nesting behavior, etc. Confirming any suspected pregnancy with your veterinarian is best to make sure there isn't an illness or pseudopregnancy instead. Typical pregnancies last around 65 days from the date of breeding.
If Tiger is confirmed as pregnant, then feeding her her regular cat food until the second part of pregnancy (the final month or so) is fine. You should then switch to a kitten formulation to help provide extra nutrients for the rapidly growing kittens and milk production and to keep Tiger in a good body condition.
If you suspect any issues during pregnancy, speaking with a local veterinarian and having her examined to make sure things are progressing well is best.

Hello, my mom's cat was just diagnosed with kidney problems (by ultrasound, tests are not ready yet) and dehydration, prescribed 200ml of fluid therapy. Hi my cat was in a car accident and suffered a grade 2 tall pull injury and had his tail amputated after a couple weeks as it did not regain function. He has since had a constipation. My 12-year-old female Cocker has always been calm but now is deaf and recently had a bad UTI. She’s on antibiotics and thyroid medication and has dry eye, for which I put an ointment in her eyes. My dog had an infected sebaceous cyst for months, and an abscess near it too. I took him to 4 veterinarians and each prescribed antibiotics. None of all helped my little buddy, and he didn't get better at all. I did labs for him few days ago for culture and sensitivity of pus and a doctor prescribed meropenem SQ 500mg every 12 hours. Higgins started making the awful crunch noise this past November. He’s only making it when he’s sleepy, sleeping, or waking up. I thought it was teeth grinding but to be safe I brought him to the vet and they checked his teeth, said he has a little bit of plaque but over all looked good.
