We have 13 year old pit bull who is getting near his time. He's skinnier than he's ever been and lost a lot of muscle. We were petting him today and noticed on his neck, his lymph nodes seemed rather large. When feeling under the neck there was also a swollen mass there. We were trying to google possible things, but a lot of stuff came up. I was wondering if you could be of any help. Thanks so much.

• Higgins started making the awful crunch noise this past November. He’s only making it when he’s sleepy, sleeping, or waking up. I thought it was teeth grinding but to be safe I brought him to the vet and they checked his teeth, said he has a little bit of plaque but over all looked good.
