My Schipperke is ten yrs old and for the last week and a half his back leg/legs seems to be bothering him. It seems to come and go. When I feel his legs to see where it hurts, I get no reaction. Then, at other times he wont jump on the couch to lay with me and doesnt want to make the stairs then the next day he seems to be fine. What do you recommend?

• Higgins started making the awful crunch noise this past November. He’s only making it when he’s sleepy, sleeping, or waking up. I thought it was teeth grinding but to be safe I brought him to the vet and they checked his teeth, said he has a little bit of plaque but over all looked good.
