What is the best way to regulate my dog’s water intake? He drinks water uncontrollably. If there is water in his bowl he chugs it within minutes of it being filled up. We have cut back on how much we put in the bowl because of this. Otherwise he would need to go outside every 10 minutes. He is also a very sloppy drinker and makes an absolute mess. Unlike most dogs he doesn’t know how to drink the right way...with only his tongue. What is the best way to train him on this issue?

I thought it was teeth grinding but to be safe I brought him to the vet and they checked his teeth, said he has a little bit of plaque but over all looked good. • Hi my cat was in a car accident and suffered a grade 2 tall pull injury and had his tail amputated after a couple weeks as it did not regain function. He has since had a constipation.
