I have a cat about 2 years old and he's been having seizures about weekly. We've done all sort of tests and exams including a CAT scan and the vet says he has epilepsy. He takes phenobarbital, diazepam and he started potassium bromide 3 months ago. He spent 1 month and 5 days without a seizure but then he had one over an hour whereas all of the previous ones were under 1 to 2 minutes. He doesn't purr and he's always itching. I've been to 3 vets and they all say the same. What else can I do?

• Hi my cat was in a car accident and suffered a grade 2 tall pull injury and had his tail amputated after a couple weeks as it did not regain function. He has since had a constipation.
