One of my gerbils eyes is closed. There seems to be a little bit of gunk keeping her eye closed but I’m not sure what this could be or what to do to help her. Her cage mate is fine and they have not been fighting if that helps.

I thought it was teeth grinding but to be safe I brought him to the vet and they checked his teeth, said he has a little bit of plaque but over all looked good.
