I don't see much of an issue with the ears in the pictures, but I would have to look closer in the ear before I would be able to tell if there is strong evidence of an ear infection. Ear infections usually have a primary cause that allows it to be infected. Common primary causes are allergies, excessive moisture, or something stuck down in the ear.
Given that the cause of the ear problem is unknown, my best recommendation is to have a vet evaluate your dog, so they can ensure a proper diagnosis and treatment plan is implemented.
For now, it will be good to gently flush the ear once every two days to help remove the debris from the ear - this will help with treating a possible infection. Below are a few links that give helpful advice/tutorials about cleaning ears.

My 9 year old staffy is huffing coughing then gagging with some throw up. He did have congestion yesterday and I treated it with a steamy bathroom and humidifier. He’s not eating but is drinking. Higgins started making the awful crunch noise this past November. He’s only making it when he’s sleepy, sleeping, or waking up. I thought it was teeth grinding but to be safe I brought him to the vet and they checked his teeth, said he has a little bit of plaque but over all looked good. Hello, my name is Christine My two dogs ate a foam ball, like a quarter size of it actually. I called my vet and he said to give them some Hydro peroxide. I did and they threw up. My 12-year-old female Cocker has always been calm but now is deaf and recently had a bad UTI. She’s on antibiotics and thyroid medication and has dry eye, for which I put an ointment in her eyes.
