My yorkie is 5 years old and she is about 16-18 lbs she is a terrier so she is not a small yorkie. I never got her spayed due to my fear of something going wrong, is it too late or risky for me to do it now that she is 5 years old? i’m really scared to put her under but I need some good advice on wether or not I should do it now. thank you

• Higgins started making the awful crunch noise this past November. He’s only making it when he’s sleepy, sleeping, or waking up. I thought it was teeth grinding but to be safe I brought him to the vet and they checked his teeth, said he has a little bit of plaque but over all looked good.
