My dog was just prescribed Sildenafil for pulmonary hypertension. He is also in Kidney failure. The dose is 0.5ml twice a day. He is 5.4 pounds. I have a few questions I'd like to confirm. 1. Is the dose correct? (0.5ml 2x a day - he is 5.4lbs) 2. Are there any side effects that I should look out for especially due to the kidney Failure? 3. How quickly would it take effect in helping his breathing? 4. Is this drug hard on the kidney? Thanks!

• I discovered my dog drinking out of a bucket of really gross dark green water outside. He was throwing up for a few days. I’ve since removed the bucket of water and he’s stopped throwing up.
