My dog has a swelling over a month old now that removes pus and blood every time the ear is drained. We've tried washing the inner ear with lemon and honey as well as iodine solution. What might be its sickness as well as its remedy because it's in lots of pain

It appears as though Biko has an aural (ear) hematoma. This occurs when there is a break in the ear cartilage and fluid fills up between the skin and the cartilage in the ear pinna. The most common reason is from shaking the head due to an ear infection. There are many treatments: draining the hematoma with or with out instilling steroids, not draining and using oral steroids to surgery. But you have to treat the underlying cause which is the ear infection. Ear infections are caused by an overgrowth of yeast and/or bacteria. The ears needs to be cleaned and have medicated drops applied. Biko should see his Vet for an exam. The vet can provide medications for the ear infection, relieve his discomfort and provide option for the hematoma.

Hi , I have a 9 year old dog who looked like she was stiff in her back leg the past couple of days and last night she was limping a lot and looked like her back leg was sticking out more then usual. My 12-year-old female Cocker has always been calm but now is deaf and recently had a bad UTI. She’s on antibiotics and thyroid medication and has dry eye, for which I put an ointment in her eyes. Higgins started making the awful crunch noise this past November. He’s only making it when he’s sleepy, sleeping, or waking up. I thought it was teeth grinding but to be safe I brought him to the vet and they checked his teeth, said he has a little bit of plaque but over all looked good. Hello, my name is Christine My two dogs ate a foam ball, like a quarter size of it actually. I called my vet and he said to give them some Hydro peroxide. I did and they threw up. I tried calling him back to see if there was anything else I needed to do or lookout for, but no one seems to pick up. Is everything going to be OK with my dogs?
