Health

We have a black Havanese and haven’t checked his gums in a long time. Today while checking his teeth we noticed the gums around his teeth are black. The bottom is mostly black, whereas the top is spotted black. His teeth look fine, his breath is normal and he seems to have no issue with eating or chewing. We’ve never really looked hard at his gums before, so we’re not sure if they have always looked like this. We are wondering if this is normal pigmentation, or something to worry about?
