My five year old Havanese dog has been vomiting bile and whole pieces of food on a continuous 30 to 20 minute rotation for the past three hours. He doesn’t seem lathargic or tired but he’s shaking a fair amount and doesn’t want to be left alone. Why could this be happening?

• Higgins started making the awful crunch noise this past November. He’s only making it when he’s sleepy, sleeping, or waking up. I thought it was teeth grinding but to be safe I brought him to the vet and they checked his teeth, said he has a little bit of plaque but over all looked good.
