My kitty just starting Nystatin Ointment for a fungal ear infection. I've noticed increased thirst and my normally talkative kitty is very quiet. Is this a normal side effect of nystatin? Should i discontinue the drops? If I discontinue drops how long until he's back to normal?

• Higgins started making the awful crunch noise this past November. He’s only making it when he’s sleepy, sleeping, or waking up.
