Hi my dog seems to have some growth or scab near her nose above her lip. It looks stuck by the hair should I be worried? The veg said it’s a scab and should fall off on its own but it’s been over 4 wks now. Should I cut the hair near it to help it fall off

• Higgins started making the awful crunch noise this past November. He’s only making it when he’s sleepy, sleeping, or waking up. I thought it was teeth grinding but to be safe I brought him to the vet and they checked his teeth, said he has a little bit of plaque but over all looked good.
