Safe to take E-collar off? My cat got spayed about 14 days ago, on June 15th. There’s still some scabs on the incision site, no discharge, redness, or warmth, is it safe to let her lick if I take the cone off?

• Higgins started making the awful crunch noise this past November. He’s only making it when he’s sleepy, sleeping, or waking up. I thought it was teeth grinding but to be safe I brought him to the vet and they checked his teeth, said he has a little bit of plaque but over all looked good.
