How to know if a momma cat is finished nursing? When I checked her nipples, you have to squeeze pretty firmly to get any milk and it isn't much at all. The lady who gave her to me swears the cat is finished nursing, but has never seen the kittens nor knows when they were delivered. I want to get her spayed, but I want to make sure I'm not doing something wrong. This cat has had 5 litters. I do not live near her old home so she will not be able to return. She does not seem distressed or anxious.
