My cat has been vomiting for a week,vets told me he might have a foreign body blocking his intestinals but they are not sure,they are going to do an operation to see if there's something,if not then they told me there's no way to save him,his nerves are destroyed. Is this possible??? Are there no other ways?? I'm desperate,he was so good before,how could this happen?

• Higgins started making the awful crunch noise this past November. He’s only making it when he’s sleepy, sleeping, or waking up. I thought it was teeth grinding but to be safe I brought him to the vet and they checked his teeth, said he has a little bit of plaque but over all looked good.
