Why does my dog foam at the mouth while he is eating? It only occurs while he eats his food. I do not exercise him right before or right after he eats, so he is not panting while he eats. His breath does smell pretty bad, so I was considering his teeth to be the issue. I have given him Greenies dental treats for now. I know that I should be brushing his teeth but I’m still trying to train him to listen and be obident.
