I have 4 cats but one of them (cinder) sheds more hair/fur than all the others combined. I can't even enjoy petting her without hair flying up everywhere. I brush her for ten minutes each day but she is still shedding like crazy. Why do some cats shed way more than others? What can I do to keep the shedding down?

• Higgins started making the awful crunch noise this past November. He’s only making it when he’s sleepy, sleeping, or waking up. I thought it was teeth grinding but to be safe I brought him to the vet and they checked his teeth, said he has a little bit of plaque but over all looked good.
