My 8 lbs dog felt 13 lights of carpeted stairs and 5 hrs later has 4 seizures. After Diazepam by IV and Phenobarbital 15mg for home, 1/2 pill @ 12 hrs. The 4th day the side effects were the worst, dizzy, disoriented, was not eating or drinking, she was lifeless. With Pedyalite and baby food (chicken) she gained her strength. . On the 6th day, w dr’s approval, I reduced her 1/2 pill to 1/4. She improved 100%. Her seizures were most likely caused by inflammation. Can we stop the phenobarbital? Tkx

• Higgins started making the awful crunch noise this past November. He’s only making it when he’s sleepy, sleeping, or waking up.
