My cat has dry skin patches and his hair is falling off. He constantly scratches and bites himself and I do not know what to do. Around this ears and his face he has this hard crust and it is very nasty. The condition is so bad that my cat is squinting his eyes to be able to see me. I wanted to give him some Pertroleum Jelly, but I was afraid that I was not going to work on him. Can you please help me? Thanks

• Higgins started making the awful crunch noise this past November. He’s only making it when he’s sleepy, sleeping, or waking up. I thought it was teeth grinding but to be safe I brought him to the vet and they checked his teeth, said he has a little bit of plaque but over all looked good.
