My Brussels Griffon's skin on her back is turning black. A vet told us to giver her Melatonon. Her skin just keeps getting further and further down her back. It does not smell, or seem to hurt Lacy. It doesn't seem to cause her any discofort at all. Is this normal for her breed?

• Higgins started making the awful crunch noise this past November. He’s only making it when he’s sleepy, sleeping, or waking up. I thought it was teeth grinding but to be safe I brought him to the vet and they checked his teeth, said he has a little bit of plaque but over all looked good.
