My Bichon is on torbugesic for cough due to heart disease. He was given an injection at 10am Friday and at 6 pm Friday. Since that time he has been sleeping, unsteady and just out of it. He is eating, drinking water, peeing and pooping all normally. His dosage for the medication is .01ml. Is this normal? No injections since. When will the sedative effect wear off? It will be 48 hours after 3:30 today. No fever, just really out of it.
