My dog has hemophilia so our vet doesn’t want to give him vaccines because he gets hematomas and could need a blood transfusion if something were to go wrong. He doesn’t want to risk it but now my dog isn’t really protected from rabies and distemper. Are there any alternatives of rabies and/or distemper protection that don’t include a vaccine?

• Higgins started making the awful crunch noise this past November. He’s only making it when he’s sleepy, sleeping, or waking up.
