My cat threw up his breakfast yesterday and has been vomiting bile ever since (white foam, clear liquid) and has vomited at least 6 times ever since. He is also much more subdued and seems nauseous all the time. It’s now been about 24 hours since he first vomited and nothing seems to have changed and he doesn’t seem to have eaten or drunk anything since. I’m just worried he’s getting weaker and more dehydrated as time goes by. When is it appropriate to take him to the vet?

• Higgins started making the awful crunch noise this past November. He’s only making it when he’s sleepy, sleeping, or waking up. I thought it was teeth grinding but to be safe I brought him to the vet and they checked his teeth, said he has a little bit of plaque but over all looked good.
