My indoor only cat has always had a bit of wax. It's dark brown but doesn't have an odor. I suspected it was ear mites so I used Hartz Ear Mite drops. It actually made it worse and my cat got more buildup from it. What are the chances he has ear mites? Should I take him in?

• Hi my cat was in a car accident and suffered a grade 2 tall pull injury and had his tail amputated after a couple weeks as it did not regain function. He has since had a constipation.
