My dog has had a few bloody bowel movements over the last couple of days. It started as diahrea, but now the poop is solid/normal with just some bloody mucus. Not every movement has been bloody. She is acting normal and not as if she is in pain--still eating, drinking, playing, etc. There have been no changes to her diet. Is this something that will go away on its own or cause to take her to a vet? What could be causing this? Our last vet appointment was 6 months ago, if that is helpful.

• Higgins started making the awful crunch noise this past November. He’s only making it when he’s sleepy, sleeping, or waking up.
