My dog has been diagnosed with Ovarian Remnant syndrome and will be getting surgery this week to remove ovarian tissue. She is no longer showing signs of heat though. Should we wait till her next cycle to have her get surgery? Or is it safe to proceed? Should we even get surgery for her in the first place? Can she live with this condition? What risks are there if we don't put her through surgery?

• Higgins started making the awful crunch noise this past November. He’s only making it when he’s sleepy, sleeping, or waking up. I thought it was teeth grinding but to be safe I brought him to the vet and they checked his teeth, said he has a little bit of plaque but over all looked good.
