Health

Super senior cat. 18 years old. Hyper thyroid but on Methimazole 5mg daily and omeprazole 10mg daily. Kidney failure as well but on 100cc subQ fluids a few times a week. Presenting with lameness and limping on hind right leg. Took him to the vet. Blood pressure was normal and limb movement was not restricted when vet manipulated his leg. Showed these sores to vet but she said it was normal for some old cats. Is this normal? It seems to bother him. Could this be the cause of lameness?
