I accidentally burn my cat while boiling water for tea, she’s lost a lot of fur and it it’s raw and I want to know what I can do to prevent infection and help her heal. She doesn’t seem to be in any pain because when I touch the wound (with clean hands) she doesn’t mind at all. Please help :( I can’t afford a vet.

• Higgins started making the awful crunch noise this past November. He’s only making it when he’s sleepy, sleeping, or waking up. I thought it was teeth grinding but to be safe I brought him to the vet and they checked his teeth, said he has a little bit of plaque but over all looked good.
