Can whole blood transfusions increase albumin levels in dogs? I know that fresh frozen plasma is used to increase albumin levels, but it takes a lot to increase a little bit and that it is risky.

• Hi my cat was in a car accident and suffered a grade 2 tall pull injury and had his tail amputated after a couple weeks as it did not regain function. He has since had a constipation.
